Liberation from the Ground Up
Mar

Liberation from the Ground Up

Liberation from the Ground Up is a trauma-informed yoga workshop series, exploring healing, agency and integration through the body’s foundation. Rooted in somatic yoga practices, this series invites participants to reconnect with their pelvic center as a source of stability, power and self-trust.

Guided by Erin Anderson (Eadem Arbor) and Jess Peeblson (Wildlight Montana), each session weaves intentional movement, breath and embodied awareness to support personal and collective healing. If we want to heal the world, we begin with our own foundation.

Dates: March 22nd, April 19th and April 26th

Time: 2-4 pm, Location: Wildlight Montana

Please note that while this series is designed to fit together and each class will build off another, participants are encouraged to register for any/all of the dates that work for them. Registration for all three dates is not required. If you are only able to come to one date, you will still be able to enjoy a powerful practice and experience.

**Tickets do not need to be purchased ahead of time, however, RSVP here by emailing Jess at Wildlight Montana to save your spot in advance. Space is limited. Please put the date(s) you’d like to attend in the subject of your email. You can Venmo Jess ahead of time or pay cash/Venmo the day of each event.

Heroic Breathwork w/Leif Bjelland

Join us for a live, group breathwork and sound journey and get your mind blown!

What is Heroic Breathwork? It’s a grounded, effective way to release tension, let go of over-thinking, and feel fully embodied and present in your life again. Rhythmic breathing set to an epic sound journey that propels you into YOU, and beyond.

The best thing about breathwork? If it gets overwhelming at any point, you slow the pace and just absorb the sound journey. When you’re ready to pick it back up, you can. Breathwork is an extremely effective way to reset your nervous system, improve vagal tone, and connect with yourself in a deeper way.

Each session will begin with an explanation, grounding, and then head into 60 minutes of solid breathing, with some optional time to share at the end or journal about your experience. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.

Contribution: $40

To find out more information and sign up for a session, check out the Transcend Today website.

New Moon Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath

New Moon Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath

Join us for a restorative yoga and sound therapy session tailored to the current astrological mood. With the moon, stars and other planetary bodies in constant motion, there are new influences on mind/body/spirit, impacting our awareness and journey every day. This particular session lands right on the heels of the New Moon in Taurus. Taurus is associated with the throat chakra, Earth, and finding stability to grow from in the new spring energy. It is associated with Venus, beauty and wealth.

For these special sessions, Nicole Rush and Jess Peeblson will still guide and support attendees through yoga with hands-on adjustments and Reiki, while simultaneously bathing the room in sound. Restorative yoga paired with sound healing work hand in hand to drop people into the deeper alpha, theta and delta brain wave states. Let the resonance of the crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, monochord and more take you on a subconscious healing journey that will leave you feeling refreshed.

Yule Log Workshop with Crescent Ridge Farm

The Yule Log is an ancient tradition originating in Northern Europe as a folk celebration during the winter solstice and has been adapted as a Christmas tradition. Join us for an evening of crafting as you create-your-own holiday yule log. During the workshop, we will discuss the origins, significance and tradition of the yule log and offer ideas to start your own solstice tradition. You can use your yule log as a centerpiece and/or celebrate the winter solstice in a traditional way by burning on the solstice.

The materials include a pre-cut and drilled ~16” larch wood log; fresh holly, mistletoe and evergreen boughs; pine cones; cinnamon sticks; orange slices; ribbon; and three hand-dipped taper candles.

The cost of the yule log workshop and materials is $65

Crescent Ridge is asking attendees to register in advance, to ensure there are enough materials available for everyone in attendance. Attendees can purchase tickets here.
